-Over 65 years of age

-Are pregnant

-Any child aged 2 - 17 years old who is at risk

Please contact the surgery to book an appointment.

Telephone Triage

We now offer telephone triage.  Triage just means deciding what, if any, treatment you need and which clinician you need to be seen by to get this treatment.  Offering telephone triage means that you will be able to speak to a clinician on the same day and either your problem dealt with over the phone, if appropriate, or an appointment offered if the clinician feels you need to be seen.  We hope this will work well and help improve access to appointments.

Prescriptions
As of 4th January 2016 you will only be able to order your prescription over the phone between 2pm - 5pm.  You can however order online or by calling into the surgery at any time.  Please allow 2 working days before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays.

GP Net Earnings

NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below. However it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.

The average pay for GPs working in the Auckland Medical Group practice in the last financial year was £64301 before tax and National Insurance.  This is for 7 full time GPs, 1 part time GP and 1 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months’.
