Telephone Triage

We now offer telephone triage.  Triage just means deciding what, if any, treatment you need and which clinician you need to be seen by to get this treatment.  Offering telephone triage means that you will be able to speak to a clinician on the same day and either your problem dealt with over the phone, if appropriate, or an appointment offered if the clinician feels you need to be seen.  We hope this will work well and help improve access to appointments.

Prescriptions
You are only able to order your prescription over the phone between 2pm - 5pm.  You can however order online or by calling into the surgery at any time.  Please allow 2 working days before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays.

Repeat Prescriptions

From September 2019 community pharmacies will no longer be able to order medicines on your behalf.  This is to ensure safe and responsible issuing of medication and prevent unnecessary medicine waste.

There are various ways in which you can order your regular medicines including:

Online from your GP Practice - If you are not already registered ask at reception

Handing in the white, tear off part of your repeat prescription to the practice, identifying which medicines you require.
